Stockport Gin named 'Best in Britain' at prestigious awards
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA Stockport gin distillery has picked up a prestigious award at The Gin Guide Awards 2022. Stockport Gin’s Twist of Lime Edition was named Best in England and Best in Britain at the spirit awards.
The gin, created by Paul and Cheryl Sharrocks at their Stockport Gin distillery in the town centre, achieved exceptional scores from every judge, on what was a larger panel than previous years.
The Twist of Lime Edition is a London Dry Gin, which is distilled with fresh lime peel to give a crisp, zesty citrus gin. Cheryl said: “We are absolutely delighted, and a bit in shock, to be told that we produce the best gin in Britain!
