dailyrecord.co.ukSomething has got to give tomorrow at Palmerston as Stirling Albion head to Queen of the South hunting for their first league win in over a month.The Binos have enjoyed a strong start to their campaign but have faced some hiccups in recent weeks, with consecutive away defeats in Annan and Montrose followed up by last week’s dramatic 2-2 home draw with Cove Rangers.However, Saturday’s visitors will take confidence from their display against the Aberdeen full-timers – a match Stirling manager Darren Young admitted felt “like a defeat” after his charges conceded a 92nd minute equaliser from Connor Scully.The Binos sit fifth in the table on eleven points ahead of Saturday’s clash, with the Doonhamers one place and two points behind them in the standings.A key question for Stirling to find a solution to for tomorrow’s match is their form on the road, with one win and three defeats in their four away games to this point.Stirling have also only notched once on the road this season – Dale Carrick’s match-winning penalty in their win over local rivals Alloa Athletic in mid-August.The home side are facing issues of their own having lost their last four games in the league, including a 3-1 reverse to Kelty Hearts last time out.Both sides have been hit with the injury bug in recent weeks, with Stirling missing a quartet of key names in the Cove stalemate – including key trio Carrick, Dale Hilson and Jack Leitch.They were boosted by the arrival of Ewan Wilson on loan from Motherwell and also featured former Rangers and Alloa midfielder Murray Miller off the bench as a trialist.
Meanwhile, Queens are also down seven or eight players, with midfielders Reegan Mimnaugh, Craig McGuffie and Josh Todd joining forwards Gavin Reilly and Lee
