Legendary musician Sting has reportedly sent a note of apology to the family of an Italian Duke who he claimed had ‘tricked’ him into buying an Italian vineyard.
The drama surrounding the villa’s purchase all began after Sting recently told Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera’s Sette that he and his wife Trudie Styler had been on the fence about purchasing a ‘rundown’ Tuscan wine estate in 1997.
Sting alleged that his mind had finally been made up after he tried a glass of red wine from the vineyards offered to him by its owner, an Italian aristocrat.
