Stevie Nicks has penned an open letter commemorating the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.Hijackers seized three passenger planes and crashed them into New York’s World Trade Center and the Pentagon in Washington DC, on September 11, 2001.

A fourth hijacked plane, believed to be intended for the US Capitol, crashed into a field in Pennsylvania due to the heroic efforts of its passengers.

The attacks killed nearly 3,000 people.In a lengthy essay, which you can view below, the singer reflected on her arrival that day in the early hours of the morning.“It was 2:30 a.m.
