Delighted Stevie Naismith has insisted Hearts have hit the reset and are ready to start pushing in the Premiership. The Jambos got back to winning ways and claimed their first home league win, as Yutaro Oda and Liam Boyce fired them to a straight-forward victory over Aberdeen.
The Gorgie side continued their impressive Tynecastle run against the Dons - as it now 11 without defeat in all competitions.
Hearts had been four without a win before the international break in all competitions and Naismith reckons the break allowed him to get his team back in order.
The Hearts head coach said: “It was a really good afternoon. In one respect we needed the break mentally to reset and take stock, in the European games the performances had been good but the challenge is when you come into domestic games you must win and we never dealt with that well enough.
