Jordan Henderson has opened up on a difficult period during his time at Liverpool when he admitted he was "in a very dark place" .
The Reds' captain has been central to the club's success in recent seasons under manager Jurgen Klopp, skippering his side to domestic, European and world glory.
But it wasn't always certain that Henderson would be a hit on Merseyside, and he came very close to leaving for Fulham in 2012.
