Steven Gerrard has told Scott Arfield he's a guaranteed starter for Rangers after the midfielder's dramatic winner against Standard Liege kept their unbeaten streak alive.

The Canada international netted to secure his side's place in the last 32 of the Europa League as he once again repaid his manager's faith in him.
