Steven Gerrard insists Rangers have lost their identity and says it’s up to him to fix it quickly as he looks to rediscover their spark.

The champions suffered a third successive home league draw and Gerrard admitted they are starting games far too slowly after conceding first for the eighth time this season against Aberdeen.

Gers were two goals down inside 15 minutes at an emotionally-charged Ibrox as they paid tribute to Walter Smith 24 hours after his passing.
