Hearts youngster James Wilson and Alfie Osborne both got the chance to train with Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad this week.The Jambo teenagers were drafted in by Clarke to make up the number as he fine tunes his preparations for Saturday’s Nations League clash with Croatia.
Clarke has a few players with knocks who have been unable to train full out and so he decided to bring the youngsters in to help out and to give them a taste of life at the top level.Hearts have high hopes for the pair.
Striker James Wilson, 17, had interest from a string of top English Premier League clubs before he committed to professional forms at Tynecastle.
He has since made his first-team debut. Midfielder Osborne is only 16 and was on the bench for the first-team in pre-season and already has a number of games under his belt for the Hearts B team.Clarke is looking for his squad to pick up their first points in the Nations League campaign.
