Stephen Mulhern has referenced his new gig on Dancing on Ice for the first time as he appeared to dedicate a post to Holly Willoughby that looked back at their past together.

The presenter is the new co-host of the ITV skating competition, replacing Phillip Schofield. Meanwhile, Holly will return to screens for the first time since quitting This Morning back in October.

Her position fronting the skating show was in doubt after her shock decision to quit the ITV daytime show after 14 years. Holly, 42, shared on October 10 in a social media statement that she was leaving the ITV daytime show after 14 years.

She said it had been an 'honour to just be part of its story', but said it was a call she had to make for herself and her family.
