Scotland.Paul McGinn last night joined up with John in the national set up to complete a remarkable journey back to where it all started for the Hibs defender.The 29-year-old started life at the National Stadium at Queen’s Park and remained a part-timer at Dumbarton before getting his breakthrough at Dundee and St Mirren and then following John’s footsteps to Hibs in January.His rise has been in contrast to the Aston Villa ace who moved from Saints to Easter Road and on to becoming one of the top men in the English top flight.Big bro Stephen doesn’t have any hard feelings at being the sibling not in the squad – only pride at seeing the pair hit the top via very different routes.The only down side is his folks Stephen and Mary won’t be able.
