Emily Longeretta Stephen Amell is suiting up. The actor will lead NBC’s upcoming “Suits” spinoff, “Suits: LA,” portraying Ted Black, “a charismatic force of nature who puts his own needs above others.” “Suits,” which was produced by UCP, aired on USA Network from 2011-2019, spanning nine seasons.
The series, which starred Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Meghan Markle, Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty, re-entered the conversation in 2023 as it began streaming on Netflix, topping their charts for multiple weeks.
It has surpassed 45 billion minutes streamed on Netflix and Peacock combined. Earlier this month, the spinoff landed a pilot order at NBC, with production set to start in March in Vancouver.
The new drama, created by original creator Aaron Korsch, will follow a new group led by Ted Black, a former New York prosecutor who built an L.A.
