evoke.ieIt looks like the X-factor has gone the way of the Dodo but there is some good news as one of our favourite 90s talent shows is set for a revival.
Stars In There Eyes gave regular people the chance to live like celebrities if only for one night and was essential Saturday night viewing.
The show which was hosted by Matthew Kelly and saw people dress up and perform as their favourite celebrity eventually wound up in 2006.
It also had one of the most memorable TV catchphrases of all times as each contestant said: ‘Tonight Matthew I’m going to be…’ and around 13 million viewers tuned in for the grand final each year making it one of the most successful TV shows of all time.
