Stanley Tucci Reveals Why He Almost Ended Things with Now-Wife Felicity Blunt at Start of Their Relationship

Stanley Tucci is looking back at the beginning of his relationship with now-wife Felicity Blunt.

In a new interview, the 62-year-old Oscar-nominated actor revealed that he almost broke up with Felicity, 42, shortly after they started dating. Keep reading to find out more… “I was afraid to get into a relationship and I kept trying to break it off because I am 21 years older than she is and I didn’t want to feel old for the rest of my life,” Stanley admitted on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs podcast. “But I knew this was an incredibly special person.” Before marrying Felicity, Stanley was married to Kate Spath-Tucci, with whom he shares three kids – 23-year-old twins Nicolo and Isabel and daughter Camila, 21. Kate died 2009 of breast cancer. Stanley first met Felicity in 2006 at the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada. Felicity is the sister of his co-star Emily Blunt. “[Felicity] and Kate talked a lot that night,” Stanley recalled from the premiere.

After Kate‘s death, Stanley reconnected with Felicity at Emily and John Krasinski‘s wedding in 2010.
