Yet while Stacey herself is no stranger to getting stuck into the action to help transform piles of clutter into jaw-dropping homes, one unexpected person on hand to help in the show’s finale was Stacey’s teenage son Zachary.

Stacey’s eldest child made an unexpected appearance during the series four finale, when Stacey was tasked with helping to restore the home of Shirley and Martin, two devoted parents who were hoping to open their home to a foster child now that their children had grown up and left home.

With the couple keen to give a home to a teenage child in particular, Stacey enlisted the help of her son to assess her handiwork after transforming a spare bedroom into a teenage sanctuary – while also quizzing him in case there was anything missing.
