Few things give us a little lift in the same way that getting a mini makeover at the salon does, be it a blow dry or fresh manicure.
But Stacey Solomon’s latest nail makeover really blows the rest of us out of the water in terms of a before and after transformation.Taking to Instagram Stories after a day of DIY jobs at her home, which is nicknamed Pickle Cottage, the 32 year old shared some snaps of her recent manicure – and we’re pretty sure she won’t mind us saying that her nails were kind of in a state before her nail artist Laura gave them a freshen up. “A moment of appreciation for @sophia_maes_destiny, no one out there would deal with the dire nail situations I get myself into, sorry Lauurraaaaa,” she captioned a before clip of her dark paint-covered nails, along with several laughing emojis. "Honestly it's every week!" Laura can be heard saying in the clip. "If it's not glue it's – what IS that?" she asks, before Stacey sheepishly replies, "Weatherproof paint." After encouraging her fans to “tap to tidy” her nails on the next slide, Stacey then unveiled her freshly painted peachy pink manicure, complete with coffin tips, tagging Sophie again and writing “YOU ARE AN ACTUAL WIZARD”.
We won’t lie, we have to agree that her nails look incredible – especially in comparison to that before shot. If you’re looking for a similar shade to Stacey’s new nails, try something like Lottie London’s Plant Based Polish in Sis, £3.25 here, or Essie’s Gel Couture Polish in Sew Me Nude, £9.99 here.
Of course, Stacey is no stranger to giving her 5.2 million Instagram followers a look inside her beauty regime, be it magnificent nail makeovers, budget-friendly beauty buys or a new hair colour.
