We may have been heading over to her Instagram for her genius home storage hacks lately, but Stacey Solomon just proved she’s still just as much a source of fashion inspiration as she is an interiors one.

For her recent date night with hubby Joe Swash, Stacey shared a snap of the couple looking very happy, and utterly adorable in coordinating purple outfits.

Although Joe kept it simple with a mauve T-shirt, Stacey opted for a more glam ensemble, donning a sparkly lilac coloured midi dress for the occasion, and we couldn’t help but think it was the perfect pick for our Valentine’s Day outfit.

The pastel-toned purple colour is a great alternative to the more expected pink and red colour scheme of the romantic holiday, and its classic slip-style design and midi length make it a more understated and sophisticated pick.
