Stacey Solomon reveals divisive kitchen makeover as she says 'I didn't ask anyone's opinion'

Stacey Solomon has initiated another DIY mission at her home of Pickle Cottage and this time, it's a kitchen revamp that could leave her fans rather divided.The Loose Women panellist, 34, is renowned for her skills at home transformations, but this time she's opted for a colour scheme that may take some by surprise.

In an Instagram Story snippet, Stacey showed off an open pot of dark paint and triumphantly captioned: "The Kitchen is now black." The star also confessed that the kitchen changes were unexpected not only to followers, but also to her husband Joe Swash.

She continued: "It is the f*** it year after all! So I didn't tell anyone, ask anyone's opinion, I just had it painted. I've been thinking about it for a while, so I went for it. "I will send some pics in the newsletter later this month, want to add some finishing touches still.

But I think it looks a MILLION times more cosy and just SOOOOO different!" Last month, Stacey transformed her home for Easter, with a fancy door display complete with lemons, eggs and bunny ornaments intertwined with lush greenery.
