Stacey Solomon's emotions are running high today as her son Leighton celebrates his ninth birthday. The doting mum-of-three has been updating her Instagram Story in dedication to her middle-born child, treating him to a special birthday snack as she thanked him for being 'an amazing son'.

The 30-year-old Loose Women star revealed her son is at school today, but explained to her 4.4million followers that she has a birthday surprise for him when he returns back home.

Before doing the school run, she penned: "Leighton has had us all up at the crack of dawn for his birthday. He wanted to make piggy rolls and open his presents [laughing emoji]." "I noticed that this tree in the garden has blossomed today and it really warmed my heart.
