Stacey Solomon has admitted she didn’t let boyfriend Joe Swash look after her sons Leighton, eight, and Zachary, 12, from a previous relationship for a long time after first meeting him – as she wanted to prove she could do it on her own.

Speaking on Loose Women on Tuesday, Stacey, 31, discussed how she waited “years” until she left her children alone with 38-year-old Joe. “Obviously I had my children before I met Joe, I don’t know what it is inside me, but for some reason I get a really pride thing about it,” she confessed.
