Stacey Solomon has laughed off claims her Pickle Cottage renovation is taking a long time. The Loose Women star replied to a question from one of her fans about the length of time her Essex home makeover is taking.

Addressing her 5 million followers on Instagram stories with baby daughter Rose in her arms, the 32 year old debunked some myths when it comes to how quickly house renovations appear to take on social media.

One follower asked, "why is the kitchen taking so long, does it usually take this long?" and the mum of four chuckled at how quickly some people may think home overhauls take.
