Following her recent family holiday to Turkey, TV presenter Stacey Solomon has returned to her gorgeous home, Pickle Cottage, in time to get her children ready to go back to school in just over a week’s time.
Sharing a video to Instagram on Saturday 24 August, the Sort Your Life Out host looked cold and wet thanks to the miserable weather as she strolled through her garden to see how her plants have been growing during her time away. “Wow, this weather today is giving ‘grab a spiced latte and get the pumpkins’ out because autumn is here!” she laughed. “Wow, at least I don’t have to water the veggies,” she added as she walked in the rain, sensibly wearing a hooded, fleece-lined jacket, listing all the jobs she needs to do before the children go back to school in September. “I’m trying to sort myself out before all the kids go back to school so I’m trying to get myself sorted, that is why I have been a bit quiet,” she explained to her fans. “I’ve got to finish labelling up their uniforms, I’m trying to deadhead all the veggies because my friend stayed here to look after the plants and I just need to work out what I am doing with them all, and I’ve got to sit down with Zac and work out what he wants to do next year now he has got his results, and I’ve got to get my kids back in a routine – they’ve been living a feral life for six weeks, so I need to implement some sort of normality and a routine before they go back or we will be messed up!” Sign up to OK!'s TV newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free She then showed off her new vegetable patch of tall corn, with corn husks growing and commented: “It’s actually creeping me out a little bit, it’s giving off a bit Texas Chainsaw Massacre vibe!” Sharing a final.
