Stacey Solomon has revealed that the "intense" experience of filming Bake Off: The Professionals almost left her in tears. The former I'm A Celeb star was announced as the Channel 4 baking show's latest co-host earlier this year.

Following Tom Allen's departure from the series, Stacey will step in to present alongside former GBBO contestant Liam Charles.

Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden will be back to judge the fifth season, which kicks off this Tuesday (May 24). However, speaking ahead of the new series, the 32-year-old mum-of-four has revealed that she "thought [she] was going to cry" after filming the first episode.
