Both her grandmothers were in the industry, instilling in her a love of textiles and vintage-inspired patterns. But it wasn’t until she became a mother that she began to dream up her own designs.
While on a year break from her corporate clothing career, Fraser began making dresses for her using fabrics she had collected.“People would stop me to ask where their outfits were from, and the more I heard ‘you should sell these,” the more I thought—why not?” she tells Glamour. “I had spent 15 years building brands for others, so maybe it was time to take the leap and build something of my own.
