The BBC confirmed that Stacey Dooley will be releasing a new documentary series, Stacey Dooley: Shoplifting, which will air on BBC Three and iPlayer some time in 2025.
The news was announced in November last year, confirming that the presenter has other projects in the pipeline including an additional single documentary and two series.
This was announced at the same time that Stacey received the prestigious Trustrees' Award that the Grierson Awards 2024. Stacey's career kickstarted after she appeared in the 2008 documentary Blood, Sweat and T-Shirts where she was joined with five other fashion lovers who had to work in the backstreet factories where their favourite clothes were made.
