Paisley.The Buddies have linked up with Belfast Celtic to provide a pathway between both clubs for players to switch from Northern Ireland to Scotland and vice versa.St Mirren Women head coach Kate Cooper believes the connection will help the Saints discover new talent that will help them build a stronger squad in seasons to come.She told Express Sport: “We played them in Paisley two years ago and since then we’ve stayed in contact and they’ve continued to push on.“The hope is we can create a feeder system for St Mirren, to give their players a chance to move here and develop their game.“Hopefully, we can uncover a few diamonds.
