Stephen Robinson has taken his first steps in his summer rebuild after St Mirren confirmed the departure of eight first team players.The Buddies revealed that Alan Power, Kyle McAllister, Matt Millar, Josh Jack, Conor McCarthy and Jak Alnwick will all be leaving the SMISA Stadium.Loan signings Connor Ronan and Jordan Jones meanwhile have returned to their parent clubs, while the Saints have made a contract offer to Alex Gogic after he was told his future was over at Hibs.Youngster Fraser Taylor has been offered a new deal, while academy graduates Kieran Offord and Dean McMaster will move up to the first-team on a permanent basis next season.One decision that is certain to be a crowd pleaser is the announcement that fan favourite Ryan Flynn has signed a new one-year deal with the club, keeping him in Paisley until the summer of 2023.A club statement read: "Ryan Flynn has agreed a one-year contract extension as has goalkeeper Peter Urminsky, while an offer has been made to Alex Gogic following the expiry of his loan agreement."Connor Ronan and Jordan Jones have returned to their parent clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic respectively.
