After the highly-streamed sophomore season of the Korean drama dropped last Thursday, Netflix graced fans with the first teaser for Season 3 on New Year’s Day, featuring a creepy new character. “Everyone say hi to Chul-su,” the streamer shared with the teaser. “Squid Game 3 coming 2025.” The 15-second clip shows three new players in their numbered tracksuits, entering an arena where the giant ‘Red Light, Green Light’ doll Young-hee’s back is turned.
After showing her face at a railroad crossing, a boy doll is revealed on the other side of the tracks, looking back at her. Squid Game‘s highly anticipated seven-episode second season, which launched on Dec.
26, raked in 68M views in its first three days on the streamer. It was No. 1 on the weekly non-English TV list in 92 countries, Netflix said.
