The Spice Girls are set to reunite next year to make a sequel to their hit film Spice World, it's claimed. The band, who officially split in 2000, two years after Geri Halliwell left, have reportedly approached a renowned screenwriter about coming up with a story for a second film.
Spice World was released in 1997, and the Spice Up Your Life singers apparently want a sequel to be released next year for its 25th anniversary.
It's claimed the project is being plotted by Geri, who now goes by her married name Geri Horner, as she is now managing the group.
Melanie C, Emma Bunton and Mel B are said to be onboard. And they're reportedly hoping that Victoria Beckham, who refused to join the band on their most recent reunion tour, will join them.
