Premier Sports have won the battle to screen 20 more Scottish Premiership games exclusively live next season - taking the total up to EIGHTY.
SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster revealed recently how the bundle of fixtures was up for grabs on top of the 60 - up from 48 last season - that Sky Sports can show.
And now the league body has revealed that Premier Sports, sponsors of the League Cup, will show the games.The SPFL and Premier Sports have now signed a five-season contract for Premier Sports to show 20 live Premiership matches per season in the UK and Ireland.
Doncaster said: “This is tremendous news for SPFL clubs and supporters alike and means that up to 80 Premiership matches will be broadcast live next season across Sky Sports and Premier Sports.
