SpaceX is set to launch 60 satellites into space this afternoon, one week after the launch was first scheduled to happen. The launch is part of the firm’s Starlink mission, which aims to provide low-cost internet to remote areas.
The Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to launch from Cape Canaveral at 16:59 BST (11:59 AM EDT), and will carry 60 Starlink satellites into orbit.
At the moment, SpaceX says that weather conditions are 60% favourable. This is the tenth batch of Starlink satellites, bringing the total number in orbit to over 500.
