South Lanarkshire schools have been praised for completing active travel plans

Over 80 South Lanarkshire schools have completed school travel plans to ensure the safety of kids getting to school.At the Roads Safety Forum on Tuesday, February 20, council officials revealed that 82 local schools have drafted their plans with a further 56 developing theirs.All educational premises in the area are offered assistance and guidance with the creation and review of their school travel plan.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Premises include Cairns Primary in Cambuslang, Craigbank Primary in Larkhall, Spittal Primary in Rutherglen and Our Lady and St.
