Community groups across South Lanarkshire have been recognised by environmental charity, Keep Scotland Beautiful, at a virtual Beautiful Scotland celebration and award ceremony.This year's competition saw 46 entrants, from 18 local authority areas, congratulated for their efforts to support and enhance their local communities, encouraging biodiversity and nature, and contributing to climate action, at the online event.And that saw five entrants within the South Lanarkshire county awarded, with none other than Bonnie Blantyre and neighbouring Brighter Bothwell scooping the gold award.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
