Sophie Ellis-Bextor reveals dad found out about bike crash that left her in A&E by reading about it in the news

Sophie was helped by four runners and husband Richard and taken off to A&E were she was patched up and a nasty cut on her forehead was glued back together.
The singer has since reassured fans that she is feeling fine despite the accident and while having a chat with Scott Mills on Radio 1, Sophie confessed that her dad had found out about her fall by reading about it online.
Sophie joked that reassuring people she is ok after her accident had been more ‘knackering’ than constantly repeating the story of how she fell and admitted that she didn’t think showing off her injuries.
