Sophia Bush's Cass Introduced on 'Grey's Anatomy' & She Could Cause Trouble for a Longtime Couple (Spoilers)

Sophia Bush has made her debut on Grey’s Anatomy and we finally know more details about how her character will impact the show.

The former One Tree Hill actress is playing trauma surgeon Dr. Cass Beckham and we already knew that the character was married to a cardiothoracic surgeon at Grey Sloan.

After the character was introduced in the November 7 episode, we now know more about their marriage. Keep reading to find out more… Cass and her husband David, played by Aussie actor Wil Traval, make their entrance into the Grey’s Anatomy world while out for dinner at a fancy restaurant, where they run into Teddy (Kim Raver) and Owen (Kevin McKidd).

Owen and David both get called into the hospital, so they leave Teddy and Cass to enjoy the evening together. When they move to a bar next door, the conversation between the women leads to Cass revealing that she and David are in an open marriage.
