deadline.comSony has titled the Tommy Wirkola thriller starring Phoebe Dynevor, Beneath the Storm. The shark thriller will hit theaters next summer on Aug.
1. Also on this release date are the wide entries, The Bad Guys 2 from Universal and DreamWorks Animation and an untitled Warner Bros event feature.
Wirkola also wrote the movie which stars Whitney Peak and Djimon Hounsou. Producers are Oscar winner Adam McKay and Kevin Messick.
Dynevor broke out in Netflix’s Bridgerton series as Daphne Bridgerton. The 2023 posh erotic thriller Fair Play, in which she starred opposite Alden Ehrenreich, propelled her star further with a BAFTA nomination for her work.
