murdering Emma Faulds was similar to to the earth where her body was found. Professor Lorna Dawson CBE gave evidence at the High Court in Glasgow today after studying soil and plant samples relevant to the investigation, as well as studying boots belonging to Ross Willox.
Willox, 41, is accused of murdering Emma, 39, at his home in Fairfield Park, Monkton on April 28, 2019 and dumping her body.
Emma's body was found in Glentrool Forest, Dumfries and Galloway on June 12, 2019. The court heard Prof Dawson was an expert advisor who had worked with police forces across the UK and in Australia.
She was asked to examine Timberland boots as well as Mercedes and Jaguar vehicles for the presence of soil.Prof Dawson told jurors soil recovered from.
