While the rest of the country was watching NFL playoff football, Sofia Vergara was a streaming sensation with her new Netflix limited series, Griselda.
It was the new leader of the Nielsen streaming ratings for the week of Jan. 22-28 by a wide margin. The series, which bowed Jan.
25, is a far cry from Vergara’s previous comedy turn in Modern Family. She now plays ambitious Colombian businesswomen Griselda Blanco, who creates one of the most profitable drug cartels in history.
Griselda’s six episodes have scored 1.59B minutes, easily topping the Disney+ animated series Bluey, the leader of the last cycle, which was second with 1.25B minutes streamed for its 151 episodes.
