Mother, model and author of Sunday Times bestseller ‘Mama’s Still Got It’ Louise Boyce has earned fame as one of the biggest parenting stars on social media.
With an Instagram account boasting an impressive 552k followers, the mother-of-three regularly shares the highs and lows of modern motherhood and offers her down-to-earth expertise on navigating the craziness of family life.
However, Louise’s journey to success hasn’t been an easy one. After signing a modelling contract back in 1995 and being crowned European Model of the Year shortly after in 1996, she was told she wouldn’t work unless she lost weight (a UK size 10 at the time), as a result, Louise developed an eating disorder and quit the business shortly after due to ill-health.
It was only in 2001 that Louise finally found a healthy relationship with her body and started working as a ‘plus size’ model, representing women with curves as a size 14.
