Coronation Street legend Alan Halsall has landed in Australia ahead of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! The 42-year-old star is best known for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap for 26 years.

Alan beamed as he landed in Brisbane Airport, clad in an all-black ensemble while pushing his suitcase. He told The Mirror: "I'm just here to play golf.

It's a long way to come but I am an avid fan of...golf. Camping? Camping has got nothing to do with it, I am not going to be camping on the golf course!" It comes after McFly's Danny Jones was the first campmate to arrive Down Under, flashing a smile for the cameras as he walked through Brisbane airport following a lengthy day of travelling.

The McFly star was on the same flight as Joel Dommett, Sam Thompson and Kemi Rodgers - who are all hosting the new I'm A Celeb spin-off show this year.
