Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lynn Lopez (born July 24, 1969), also known by her nickname J.Lo, is an American actress, singer, dancer, fashion designer, producer and businesswoman. In 1991, Lopez began appearing as a Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color, where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993. For her first leading role in the 1997 Selena biopic of the same name, Lopez received a Golden Globe nomination and became the first Latin actress to earn over US$1 million for a film. She went on to star in Anaconda (1997) and Out of Sight (1998), later establishing herself as the highest-paid Latin actress in Hollywood.

New York Times a shift in Amazon’s bestseller list. Seven of the top 10 books, it noted, focused on race and anti-racism work.

One of them was a title that’s shown up in dozens of guides for anti-racist readers and Instagram roundups the world over: Ijeoma Oluo’s .Released in 2018, the book was intended to be a primer on such entrenched injustices as and mass incarceration.

It’s true that she wrote the book for the exact audience it’s found these past few weeks—white readers who want to interrogate their own biases. “But the bitter part,” she adds, “is that a lot of lives have been lost while we’ve been trying so hard to get.
