Nicola Sturgeon a majority of five at Holyrood. Scottish Labour is projected to win 24 seats, the same number the party won in the last Holyrood election.
But the Scottish Tories under Douglas Ross would come third according to the poll with 22 seats, nine fewer than they won in 2016 under Ruth Davidson.The poll suggests the Scottish Greens could increase from six to 11 MSPs but Alex Salmond’s Alba Party faces wipe-out with just three per cent of the regional vote.Salmond’s Alba Party is projected to secure just three per cent of the regional list vote.
However, polling variation and personal impact could still see Salmond succeed in his old stomping ground in the North East region where he is standing on the list.The country remains split.
