SNP MP Angus MacNeil is set to stand trial accused of causing serious injury to a teen biker by driving dangerously. The 50-year-old MP was not present in court when his case was called at Lochmaddy Sheriff Court and pleaded not guilty by letter.
It is alleged MacNeil caused serious injury to a 17-year-old motorcyclist in an incident on his home island of Barra in his Western Isles constituency.
