‘Snow White’ remake is one of the worst movies of all time, according to IMDB users

Disney’s Snow White remake continued, as website IMDb (Internet Movie Database) has listed it as one of the worst movies ever, according to user ratings.On the site, registered users are allowed to score individual films out of 10, with the scores leading to a weighted average.

Currently, Snow White sits at a lowly 1.6 out of ten rating.According to the breakdown, 90 per cent of those voting, over 180,000, gave it a one out of 10 rating.

A little over 5,000 users (or 2.5 per cent) gave it the full 10 out of 10. The weighted score based on just under 200,000 votes is 1.6, placing it lower than famous flops such as 2000’s Battlefield Earth (two out of 10) and 2019 musical Cats (2.8).The figures make grim reading for the film, with the release being overshadowed by poor reviews and controversy surrounding star Rachel Zegler.

Several changes were made to the 1937 original film, giving Snow White a more political focus, changing the background of the seven dwarves, and altering aspects of the plot.
