The numbers are in for Disney‘s live-action remake of 1937′s iconic Snow White! The film, which stars Rachel Zegler in the title role and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, brought in $43 million at the domestic box office in its opening weekend.

There are examples of live-action movies slowly generating big numbers at the box office. Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King recently debuted to $35 million around Christmas 2024, going on to bring in $700 million globally.
The company projected an opening for Snow White between $45 million and $55 million. Snow White earned a B+ CinemaScore from audiences.
