Snoop Dogg has revealed he’s ready to invest in Celtic FC after being inspired by Hollywood pal Ryan Reynolds, who bought Welsh club Wrexham.
The football-daft multi-millionaire rapper said he would be mad not to consider putting cash into his favourite club and he’d even be happy to take on mascot duties.
In an exclusive interview with the Sunday Mail, the 17-times Grammy nominated artist, who was a hit as a torchbearer at the Paris Olympics, said: “I love what Ryan has done with Wrexham – it’s just a great story.“Investing in a sports team has been something I have been looking at for a long time – if the chance came to invest in Celtic, I would be crazy not to take a look at it.
I have watched so much soccer in Europe but I have never seen fans like the Celtic fans. There is something so special about them.“There is a reason why their fans are talked about across Europe – the best players and coaches in the world tell you there is nowhere like Celtic Park and I want to be a part of that.
