‘SNL’ Promo: Paul Mescal Can’t Escape The Gladiator
deadline.comPaul Mescal can’t shake the gladiator within, even during a friendly table read for this week’s Saturday Night Live. In NBC’s latest SNL promo, Mescal, the Gladiator II actor hosting this weekend’s episode, is seated at the table, going over some sketches when cast members Devon Walker and Heidi Gardner arrive.
Things start friendly enough, and despite Mescal’s insistence that he’s no Method actor, old gladiator habits apparently die as hard as a rivalrous Mikey Day is about to.
Mescal will be making his first guest hosting appearance this Satursday, December 7. The musical guest is Shaboozey. Saturday Night Live is produced in association with Broadway Video.
