‘SNL’ Promo: Chloe Fineman Is Crushing On Paul Mescal
deadline.comSaturday Night Live castmember Chloe Fineman can’t pronounce Paul Mescal‘s name, but that doesn’t stop her from crushing on him in a new promo.
As the Gladiator II star introduces musical guest Shaboozey, Fineman interjects with a seeming non-sequitur based on her own thoughts. “Thank you, but I have a boyfriend,” she says to Mescal. “I wasn’t asking you…” Mescal begins before Fineman interrupts with, “Fine, give me a week.
I can make him go away.” Shaboozey, who’s been observing the back-and-forth, then explains to Mescal, “I think she’s just hearing what she wants to hear.” You can watch it below.
Mescal will be making his first guest hosting appearance this Saturday, December 7. Former castmembers Chris Rock and Martin Short will finish out the year.
