Still not sure what Charli XCX means by “brat?” If the latest SNL promo is any indication, you’re not alone. With Charli XCX pulling both the hosting and musical guest gigs this week, she presented the perfect opportunity for some still-in-the-dark SNL cast members to do some digging.

In this week’s promo, Chloe Fineman does just that. Stopping by the writing room, Fineman attempts a conversation but gets nothing in return but the single word “brat.” How’s Charli XCX feeling?

Brat. Need advice about a rash? Brat. “I’m sorry, I don’t know what you’re saying,” Fineman finally says. “It just sounds like you’re repeating the word…” “Brat,” responds this week’s host.
