‘SNL’ Promo: Ariana Grande Wants Nothing Wicked, Cast Has Other Ideas

In this week’s Saturday Night Live promo, Grande attends a pitch meeting with cast members Devon Walker, Michael Longfellow, Marcello Hernández and Andrew Dismukes and lays down her one rule: No sketches about Wicked or The Wizard of Oz.
The SNL gang clearly has other thoughts. Check out the promo above. In the upcoming Wicked musical film – Part 1 is set for theatrical release on November 22 – Grande plays Galinda, who later becomes the Glinda the Good Witch (opposite Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba, soon to be the Wicked Witch of the West).
Grande is returning for her second time as SNL host, with musical guest Stevie Nicks back for her second time – and her first in more than 30 years.
